What we offer

PLAY@Churwell Forest School is for children aged 5-11 years and runs in school holidays at the Phoenix Campsite, Nepshaw Lane, Morley, LS27 9RX.

PLAY@Churwell Forest School will focus on our love for outdoor learning and the natural environment. We aim to strengthen life skills through exploration of the world around us stimulating & encouraging children’s natural curiosity. Children will be able to play and develop new skills, be more physically active and improve wellbeing. Activities will build resilience with team-working and risk-taking and of course they will have lots of fun. Example activities include den building, arts & crafts, music, drama, games, cooking outdoors as well as the old favourites like lego.

To get the best out of the experience you will need suitable clothing for the outdoors such as warm clothes, wellies, waterproofs, hats & gloves and spare clothing. If you have any outgrown waterproofs or wellies we would be pleased for any donations.
