Our facilities

The nursery is in an old mill building converted to a multi-use property which we share with apartments on the 2nd/3rd floors. On the 1st floor is the nursery together with our offices and community room. We have our own secure main entrance and a secure side gate entrance at ground level with our own fob access security through interior doors. There is an external ramp suitable for pushchairs from the side entrance up to the nursery door. From the front entrance there is an interior ramp up to our office and community room. If the ramps are not accessible, disabled access can be arranged via the apartments entrance using the lift shared with the apartments.

The nursery has three main rooms – Caterpillars for Under 2s, Ladybirds for 2-3 year olds and Fireflies for 3-4 year olds. The nursery is a bright and airy space with lots of natural light. Caterpillars and Ladybirds have direct access to the outdoor learning area / garden which includes a den, mud kitchen and stimulating activities. On this floor we have the nursery kitchen, our offices and The Hive - our community room. On the ground floor we have our staff facilities including a staff room and resources room.

Opposite the nursery is the local park which provides opportunities for forest school activities.

There is a drop off zone in the shared car park and parking for visitors.
