Our team

PLAY@Churwell Day Nursery is graduate-led by Operations Director, Michelle. Working with her are Siobhan, our Early Years Teacher and SENCO; Deputy Manager Louise; Forest School Lead Sam; and Lead SEN Practitioner Sarah.

• The Fireflies Room for 3-4 year olds is led by our Early Years Teacher Siobhan and Early Educator Allison;
• The Ladybirds Room for 2-3 year olds is led by our Lead Practitioner Bobbie with Early Educators Millie & Lucie;
• The Caterpillars Room for under 2 year olds is led by our Lead Practitioners Fiona & Lindsey with Early Educator Jodie;
• Our nursery team is completed by Early Years Assistants and Apprentices working towards relevant qualifications.
• Supporting the nursery team are Julie, our Business & Finance Director; Cath, our Learning Support Manager; Nicki, our Admin Assistant; Dave, our Business Support Manager.

We also offer students work placements.

All staff and volunteers have Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks and the nursery team have completed Paediatric First Aid courses. Our Early Educators are all qualified to a minimum of Level 3 and are supported to continue their professional development.
